What's included
Shopify design, development and CRO
Every project is scoped to the brand. The same team designs, builds and tests your site, from first call to long after launch.
Design
Storefronts designed around how your customers actually shop: navigation, collection merchandising, product pages and the path to checkout. Built to your brand rather than a stock theme, and approved before development starts.
Development
Online Store 2.0 builds and rebuilds, heavily customized themes and custom sections, written to load fast and stay editable by your team in the theme editor.
Custom functionality
Bundle builders, gift-with-purchase and cart customizations for when an off-the-shelf app doesn't fit how you sell, including our own Zettler Digital Cart Tools app.
CRO and testing
Ongoing split testing of product pages, carts and offers, judged on revenue per visitor, with a testing roadmap built around where your funnel actually leaks.
Migrations
Replatforms to Shopify from legacy and custom builds, with products, customers, redirects and integrations moved and checked before launch.
Ongoing support
Maintenance and ad hoc development after launch, so the site keeps improving instead of drifting.

What clients say
"We've gone through 10-15 developers. Ben and his team are heads above everyone else. We couldn't have had a better experience. They communicate clearly, understand the issues and come up with solutions with ease. Highly recommend to anyone."
"Everything looks perfect. Thanks so much for the attention to detail throughout this process. Smoothest UI build I've ever witnessed, including my years as a product designer."
"The level of detail Zettler Digital provides has been absolutely exceptional. From running tons of split tests to constantly making the smallest changes to optimize the website, I cannot recommend them enough."
"Zettler Digital has been a great partner to help us execute an upgrade to the Shopify 2.0 framework. They were able to seamlessly blend our existing visual theme and multiple third party apps into a site that functions better and is more flexible without any downtime."
Shopify agency FAQ
Shopify builds start at $6,500. A build on an existing Shopify theme, set up and styled to your brand, sits at that end of the range. Adding custom sections and functionality to an existing theme, or designing and building a custom theme from the ground up, takes more design and development time and usually runs in the low to mid five figures.
Every build and migration is quoted as a fixed project fee once scope is set. Ad hoc development after launch is billed at $195 an hour with a five-hour minimum.
It depends on the same complexity that sets the cost. A build on an existing theme moves fastest, typically six weeks.
Custom sections on an existing theme add one to two weeks, and a custom theme built from the ground up or a migration typically takes three to four months.
Any timeline is agreed before work starts and written into the project plan.
Both. Many builds start from a proven Online Store 2.0 theme and are customized to fit the brand. Where a theme doesn't fit how you sell, we build custom sections and functionality on top of it, or design and build a custom theme from the ground up.
We also have built our own custom apps to serve bespoke functions for websites like bundle builders and gift-with-purchase.
Yes. We migrate brands to Shopify from Magento (Adobe Commerce), BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud and custom-built platforms. Products, customers, order history, URLs and integrations are mapped before anything moves, redirects protect search rankings, and everything is checked against the source before launch.
Yes, and that's the point. You get a fully capable theme your team runs from Shopify's theme settings: content, layouts, colors, images and sections are all editable without touching code. You own everything, and nothing is siloed in code that only a developer can change.
That holds for anything we add later. A new section or a ground-up redesign is built with the same editable settings, so the site stays in your team's hands.
CRO starts with where shoppers drop off. We review analytics, session recordings, product pages, collections and the cart, then rank ideas by their likely revenue impact. Each idea becomes a split test with a written hypothesis and a success metric, judged on revenue per visitor rather than clicks alone, since a change that lifts conversion but lowers order value isn't a win.
Winning variants are built into the theme, and every result is logged so tests aren't repeated. Over time, that log becomes a record of what actually works for your customers.
Some gains show at launch: a faster, cleaner site and fixes to known friction points in the product page, cart and checkout path start working on day one. Testing gains come after, as each split test needs enough traffic to reach a clear answer, so results build month over month once the testing program is running.
Yes. Zettler Digital also runs Klaviyo email and SMS and Meta and Google Ads, with dedicated specialists for each. Because the site, retention and paid media can sit with one agency, signup forms, tracking and landing pages are built with those channels in mind from the start, instead of being handed between agencies.
